Once the maximum density of the soil has been established by means of a laboratory compaction test (proctor test), our staff of technicians can provide in-place density testing of the soil. Through the use of a nuclear density gauge, our on-site technicians will be able to provide you with quick results regarding the ability of the soil to support specific structures. We also offer a wide range of supplemental tests that can be done according to the specifications of the project.

New England Foundation and Stabilization Company specializes in deep foundation systems. Such foundations allow buildings to be constructed in areas unsuitable for structural bearing, without removal of the unsuitable materials, by extending the foundation system through the unsuitable layers and bearing directly on the competent soils below. Additionally, deep foundation systems allow existing structures, which were constructed on unstable foundations, to be retrofitted with adequate structural support. The company has made quite a name for itself through use of the patented "Resistance Piers" in raising settled structures back to their original levels. This pier system can restore a cracked and/or leaning structure, which is suffering from differential settlement, to a plumb and true condition, frequently closing cracks which have opened due to the settlement.
